“Fausse couche” which mean “miscarriage” is a short movie that I have realized while I was studying at the Lucerne University of Applied sciences and arts,2013. Animation: handdrawn and CG

The initial project was a handdrawn animation. I decided afterwards to adapt it in 3D. For the animation I kept the 2D animation as reference. The modelling was done in softimage, the mesh kept very low-poly. Even if it was one of my first CG-animation, I tried to creat the rigg by myself. The simplicity of the rigg meant lot of difficulties to animate it properly…

Texturing and background By clicking on the .gif (picture left), you will see the handdrawn animation.

The 3D textur has been done on Z-brush and imported as a bump-map in softimage. The feder were drawn in photoshop as well as the background. The compositing on Nuke.

The musik has been written and played by myself.
